Getting started with Libby
With Libby, you can borrow and enjoy free ebooks, audiobooks, and more from your library’s collection. All you need to get started is an internet connection, and a library card:
1. Find your library
Find and open your library digital collection using one of the following:
- Our new Libby app (recommended for public library users on Android, iOS, or Windows 10)
- OverDrive.com (for any user on a Windows or Mac computer)
2. Borrow
Borrow a title from your library digital collection. You’ll need a valid library card to complete this step
3. Enjoy
You can enjoy many titles immediately online, download them for offline use, or send borrowed ebooks to a Kindle device for the duration of your lending period.
You can also transfer titles from your computer to compatible e-readers or MP3 players.

Using Hoopla
If you have a library card from the Gladys E. Kelly Public Library, you have access to another eBook source called Hoopla.
Users can access Hoopla via their website:
Or by downloading the app on the Google Play Store (for Android devices), or via the App Store (for iPhones or iPads).
Users can create an account with their Gladys E. Kelly Public Library card number, and gain access to 5 borrows per month of either eBooks, Audio Books or Movies and TV Shows. These items never have a wait time, and can be renewed as long as you have more borrows remaining.
