The Gladys E. Kelly Public Library will celebrate the spring, nature, animals and community by presenting Parents’ Choice Award winning performers Davis Bates and Roger Tinknell in a socially distanced, outdoor participatory performance of songs & stories for all ages! Entitled Tales & Tails, the program celebrates reading, animals, and the diversity and wonder of the natural world. This lively concert includes songs about critters, nature, and environmental awareness, just so stories, creation myths and more! Hear how the bear missed the train, how the coyote got his howl, and be prepared to sing, move, and dance. There will even be a short lesson on how to play the spoons and an appearance by a dancing wooden dog named Bingo!
This performance is funded, in part, by a grant from the Webster Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the MA Cultural Council.
