    Regards & Thank You
    Nannette Morgan

    1. Hi Nannette,

Unfortunately those digitized images are identical to the microfilm images that we have in our collection, so we don’t have any improved images here.

You could try to contact Carla Manzi, who works for a business called Webster Lake Gifts in town. I know she has hard copies of some of the Webster Times.

      Her email address is carla@websterlakegifts.com

      Hope this helps!

  • I am a member of the Thompson Historical Society and do a lot of research for answering inquiries and for our own projects. I also do a lot for my own family and friends and have found this to be a valuable resource for me.
Recently, when trying to use it, I either cannot access the website or when I do gain access, I have issues with very slow reaction with opening pages and trying to copy a clip from a page. This has not always been the case, but has occurred several times, and I have seen it last for a short time period – a week or so – and then all would work well again. I have had this issue from several computers and am wondering if there might be an issue with the source.
On another note, we may have newspapers that we might want to have digitized and I was wondering what comments you would have, good or bad, with your experiences with the company that did the digitization. Was the experience good and would you recommend them to others to use for the same purpose?

    1. Hi Mark,

I’m going to send this comment over to our Reference Librarian, Peter. They’ve been the one working most closely with the digitization company. The email address is parsenault@cwmars.org if you want to reach out directly.

I’m glad it has been a valuable resource to you!
